Each and every one of us is responsible for making our life mean something. However, outside forces can affect someone’s ability to exercise choice and live a meaningful life. The truth is, your reality is shaped and influenced by past experiences, present perceptions (which is shaped by past experiences), and expectations of the future (which is shaped by past experiences). How you experience the world can either be positive or negative depending on what you have been through throughout your lifetime. How you experience life is determined by your sense of feeling, thinking, and being which is also determinedby what has happened to you throughout your lifetime. Individuals unconsciously create what is familiar until they finally decide to choose something different, put another way, in earlier life experiences we may have adopted dysfunctional patterns of thinking, being, or relating which holds us back from the life we really want. If you cannot identify these self-limiting habits you have… then you cannot replace the bad habits with positive ones. Whether you or someone you love is struggling with some form of habitual behavior that others deem as being unhealthy and damaging to your relationship(s), or you are someone who is faced with craving outside forces to make you feel whole… it may be time for an INTERVENTION!

Fighting the Battle Within

There is a soft internal struggle we each face from time-to-time throughout our lifetime. For what ever reason, there will be times in our lives that we each become disconnected and forget that there is life all around us. There are times when each of us are inadvertently contributing to the struggles and challenges we face. Some of the challenges each of us face are intricate and complex which is why it is essential that we have the ability to ascertain whether the issues/conflicts we are being challenged by are of our own making… the truth is, subconsciously your life experiences make you believe certain things about who you are that limits your ability to be fully present… for example, if you were abused as a child you may live your life thinking you’re not good enough and so you never take ANY chances because you are afraid to fail, you are afraid of rejection, and so on… If you never take any chances then you will never know what you are truly capable of, and you will never have the ability to reach your full potential.

Reaching your Full Potential

While some individuals have become who they intended to be either professionally or personally, others still have yet to reach their full potential. Why? They don’t even understand let alone realize what that is! These individuals have experienced events throughout their lives that may have impacted them so greatly… they have a hard time holding their head up high because their self-esteem is so low. Chances are, someone at some point in the individuals life told them theywere not good enough, they were not smart enough, not pretty enough, and so on… The unique gifts these individuals innately possess have not even begun to surface because who they are destined to become (someone who IS beautiful, handsome, smart, and loveable) is buried under a pile of tragic experiences that need to be dealt with.

Holistic healing is the consideration taken towards healing one’s entire self: mind, body, and soul. Holistic practitioners believe that physical illnesses are symptoms of a greater imbalance that may not stem from the physical, but rather the spiritual self, and that due consideration must be undertaken to heal all aspects.
