It’s about believing in yourself and deciding what is important to you… is it family, career, relationship, hobbies, spirituality, friends, etc. You have to be the one that decides what is important to you! Life is about looking for the true you, the real you that lives within you. Learning to love your life is a process that will entail some soul searching… It will force you be aware of how your thoughtsdrive your actions and how your attitude can shift your perception of life either positively or negatively. It’s your life, so make sure you take great care! Be gentle with yourself, don’t be so hard on yourself, don’t beat yourself down and don’t put unneeded pressure or demands on yourself and remember… life is a journey not a destination! Live YOUR life and don’t let it pass you by.
LIFE
“You must make a decision that you are going to move on. It won’t happen automatically. You will have to rise up and say, I don’t care how hard this is, I don’t care how disappointed I am, I’m not going to let this get the best of me. I’m moving on with my life.”
~Joel Osteen
EXPERIENCES
“No matter how many times you get knocked down, keep getting back up. God sees your resolve. He sees your determination. And when you do everything you can do, that’s when God will step in and do what you can’t do.”
~Joel Osteen
Understanding How Experiences
Shape Your Perception of Life
Experiences and events from childhood have shaped our perception of life and ourselves… there is really no escaping this fact. So the question is, how? Negative childhood experiences or events can have an impact upon someone’s ability to really know who they are! As adults we use our past experiences to deal with our present life… physical or sexual abuse or both jade those experiences… being neglected, being abandoned, or overpowered by emotional or mentalabuse can torture you as a child and skew your perception of life as an adult! By becoming aware of how these types of experiences shape mostly the perceptions we have of ourselves, will bring insight to understanding how it also affects our attitude and perception of and towards life.
PERCEPTIONS
“There are things known and there are things unknown, and in between are the doors of perception.”
~Aldous Huxley

Become aware of your thoughts and emotions realize how they drive your actions and understand how each affects your health and happiness. Take time to tap into your inner power, ask yourself questions, wait patiently and quietly (for your answers), don’t stress, have patience and listen to your voice within (the one in your gut) not the one in your head telling you that you are not good enough! Tap into the thoughtless subconscious energy forcethat lives within each of us, be patient and the answers will come. There is a purpose for each of us in this life and there is a life that is meant for each of us to live.
